We got Caladin home from the NICU on Sunday with no feeding or oxygen tubes needed! It's been a long week of adjusting to life with a newborn. The first night was pretty rough because he was fussy, and I only got about an hour of sleep, but I was able to get some napping in throughout the day thanks to my mom coming to help. She came to help during the first few days. The next two nights he slept really well during the night and only woke up for feedings. I spent a lot of time sleeping on the couch so I could let my husband sleep, since he still had work. Once he had time off, we switched to taking turns getting up, though I still have to get up to pump at least once in the middle of the night. It's nice that with me pumping and us using the formula for his reflux that I'm not the only one who can feed him.
